The Speech-Language Pathology department collaborates with the UNMC High School Alliance Program to introduce students to a career in medical speech-language pathology.
High school students can also complete an individual job-shadowing experience with a speech-language pathologist. Job-shadowing times range from two to four hours. Observations can be completed in the following areas:
- Adult
- Pediatric
- Hospital
- Outpatient
