How can we Help?

This information may help narrow your search.

There are often things to consider or forms to complete before an appointment can be scheduled with our providers and clinics.

Our patient information office works to ensure you have a positive experience scheduling an appointment for yourself or someone you care for.

We can help you get in touch with a health care provider.

Visit our Contact | Find a Provider web page for more information.

Munroe-Meyer Institute staff embody the UNMC values. Each value reflects who we are and why we are here: Innovation, teamwork, excellence, accountability, courage and healing.

We hope our team demonstrates commitment and passion to these values during all interactions. Your feedback can help us understand what needs more focus or what made your experience exceptional. Explore how you can share your experience.

The Munroe-Meyer Institute is committed to providing online accessibility for people with and without disabilities. We continually review the user experience, apply and evaluate accessibility standards set by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and make improvements as identified.

If you encounter accessibility barriers or if you have not found what you are looking for, please contact MMI's Community Engagement Department by email or by calling 402-559-9828.

A core function of our daily operations is to promote acceptance for all people, with and without disabilities and complex health care needs. We support local, national and international awareness initiatives and welcome anyone with an interest to become involved in these important conversations in one or more ways

MMI's gift shop is a volunteer-run venture, managed by MMI Community Engagement and is open to the public on appointment by contacting us in advance.

Follow us on our social accounts to receive news and updates about initiatives that impact the disability community, notifications of events and staff achievements. Tag our accounts to include us in your story or activity. Email our social team. We try to respond within three days.

A Caregivers Corner Facebook Group is offered by our Family Care Enhancement Program that provides information to assist caregivers of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Whether you are volunteering to explore career interests, offer service to the community, use professional skills, expand your circle of friends or make a difference in the lives of others, our volunteers greatly benefit the MMI patient experience and community engagement.
