Genetic Medicine

Comprehensive Services for a Variety of Genetic and Metabolic Disorders

The Munroe-Meyer Institute's Department of Genetic Medicine provides comprehensive genetic services through evaluation, counseling and testing in a clinic setting. Our providers offer patients information on recurrence risks and future family implications. This can help parents gain an understanding of what may have caused a disorder.

In 80 percent of cases, families change the management of the disorder following genetic testing and a diagnosis.
