UNMC's Munroe-Meyer Institute is a unique health care facility that specializes in services for people with disabilities across the lifespan. Our professionals deliver extraordinary, family-centered care and coordination of services, designed to transform the lives of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and complex health care needs.

Specialized Services and Supports
Patient care includes comprehensive programs and medical services delivered through interdisciplinary clinics and evaluations or individual assessments and treatment. Specialty providers deliver services within MMI, at UNMC, in outreach clinics in the Omaha area and throughout Nebraska.
- Our unique approach provides a family-centered, comprehensive care plan, designed to meet each patient’s individualized needs.
- We achieve this goal by inviting caregivers, teachers, therapists and community service providers as welcome members of patient treatment plans.
