Arnold Stern Program
The Arnold Stern program’s goal is to encourage friendship among teens and young adults ages 13-21 with developmental disabilities. Activities include concerts, swimming, sporting events, plays, bowling, holiday parties and more across the Omaha metro area and at MMI. The purpose is to enhance disability awareness within the greater Omaha community and to help prepare participants for adult leisure independence and decision-making.
A trained recreational therapist runs this program with the assistance of activity technicians.
