Adult Swim Program
Adult swim is a specialized program designed for participants with extreme mobility restriction or medical fragilities requiring active transfer and in-water assistance and provides recreational and social opportunities for adults age 21 and older. A trained recreation therapist oversees the program and activity technicians assist participants in MMI’s heated therapy pool.
Program details
- Adult swim runs on Tuesday evenings for two 6-week sessions in the Spring, Summer and Fall. Participants can choose from two 1-hour time options.
- Space in this program is limited and transportation is not provided.
- There is a fee for this program and scholarships may be available.
