SEPA Science Teacher Workshop is a professional development program that addresses science content standards for teachers in our SEPA partner schools on Native American reservation schools in Nebraska and South Dakota.
UNMC staff, visiting scientists and science educators lead the interactive presentations, field trips and hands-on activities. Each year, the sessions cover areas of need identified by teachers and administrators that cover various concepts related to the understandings and abilities of science instruction that support teaching in the classroom. The workshops are designed to enable teachers to enhance their own knowledge and methods into various instructional settings.
For questions about the SEPA Science Teacher Workshop, email SEPA.
The next workshop will take place in Omaha, NE the last week of June 2022.
Check back in the spring for more details.
