Professional Summary
As an aunt of a nephew diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), I am aware of the challenges that families have to go through for their loved ones that have developmental disabilities. I have seen the number of children diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities increasing in my migrant refugee community and it has made me passionate about serving these individuals and their families. I want to bridge the gap to connect these families with the best possible resources and eliminate any cultural, communication or other barriers that they face. I am honored to work alongside migrant refugee families to help guide and provide resources for them to utilize during this challenging, but still amazing, journey.
