Professional Summary
All the worries and unknowns of parenthood are heightened when you are raising a child with special needs. In addition to medical and educational concerns, there are the uncertainties about ways to foster your child’s social and emotional needs. As a mother with a young adult on the Autism Spectrum, I am continually searching for resources that will expand my daughter’s social circle, support her educational goals, and channels to find peer supports for our entire family.
I want my daughter and all individuals with special needs to live fulfilling, vibrant, independent lives. I strive to provide caregivers with the resources they need to be their children’s best advocates.
