My desire to help families navigate the disability world comes from my personal experience as a sibling of an individual with Down syndrome. Growing up I quickly became aware of the challenges, uncertainties and language barriers we would face as a family. My mission now is to advocate for my brother, stay informed and educated on the appropriate resources that are available not only to our family, but for all families. As a Parent Resource Coordinator, I am here to offer support, encourage families and provide equal access to individuals with disabilities. My goal is for caregivers to feel empowered and hopeful in their journey.
