Jessica Sharp is a Speech-Language Pathologist in the department of speech-language pathology at the UNMC Munroe-Meyer Institute. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and Human Sciences from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Lincoln, NE and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Fort Hays State University in Hays, KS. Jessica has gained clinical experience over the course of her profession working with individuals ranging from young adult to the geriatric population from a variety of settings including skilled nursing facilities, acute care, home health, and outpatient therapy. She started working at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in November 2019. She has taken particular interest in the assessment of individuals who have had a stroke and demonstrate speech/language and swallowing deficits as well as those that have been diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease.
