Professional Summary
Garrett Nathan is a speech-language pathologist in the Department of Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) Munroe-Meyer Institute (MMI). Garrett joined the team in 2021 with previous experience working in the acute inpatient and adult/pediatric outpatient settings. He specializes in the areas of speech sound/motor speech disorders, fluency, autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and receptive/expressive language delay.
Garrett received his Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in 2016 from Fort Hays State University and his Bachelor’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in 2014 with minors in Education, Gerontology, and Leadership and Communications. Garrett presents at national and state conventions regarding clinical intervention strategies and research for the pediatric population. Garrett currently serves on the Committee on Leadership Cultivation and on the Committee of Ambassadors for the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). He currently services as Vice-President for Membership for the Nebraska Speech-Language-Hearing Association
