Carol Gaebler, MS, CCC-SLP, has been part of the team since 1990. During that time, Carol has functioned as lead speech language pathologist, interim department director and associate director of inpatient services and currently serves as supervisor of speech pathology staff involved in multidisciplinary clinics for Nebraska Medicine.

Teaching
Carol provides yearly guest lectures related to medical speech pathology to Nebraska Medicine hospital staff, Creighton occupational therapy students and University of Nebraska-Omaha speech-language pathology graduate students. Carol provides supervision to graduate student medical interns and clinical fellows in both inpatient and outpatient service provision. She coteaches a graduate level course in Cognitive-Communication Disorders for UNO.
