Professional Summary
Matt Stelzer joined Munroe-Meyer Institute in December 2017 as the Director of Business Services. Prior to joining MMI, Stelzer served in a variety of roles at UNMC, primarily in Business & Finance.
Stelzer first joined UNMC as a finance intern in spring 2009. He was named Financial Analyst in fall 2009 in the Controller’s Office. In 2012, Stelzer moved to the Budget Office as a Financial/Budget Analyst. In 2013, Matt would take on additional duties and help assist with the business enterprise of the newly formed National Strategic Research Institute. From 2014 to 2017, he served as an Accountant III in the Budget Office while taking on interim administrator roles in Facilities, Library of Medicine and COM – Oncology and Hematology.
As Director of MMI Business Services, Stelzer has oversight of the Institute’s operations and administrative services. These include human resources, staff personnel support, facilities, infrastructure and capital project management, fiscal and business management, and other administrative duties as assigned.
