Professional Summary
Kamisha joined the Munroe-Meyer Institute’s Recreational Therapy team in the Fall of 2022. In her role at MMI as an Adaptive Therapy Specialist, Kamisha partners with the Millard Public School district in their middle and high school Social Club. There she helps young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities gain social skills using recreational and leisure activities. Her passion for working with kids and young adults has shown throughout her career path. Kamisha’s familiarity with MMI started back in 2012 where she was a volunteer for four years. She is excited to be back at MMI and looks forward to continuing her passion in Recreational Therapy and growing within the Munroe-Meyer family.
