Professional Summary
Katelyn Kelley, BS is the Lab Manager of the Blackford Lab and the Assistant to the Direct of Research at the Munroe-Meyer Institute. In addition, Katelyn is MMI’s Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) Coordinator. Prior to joining MMI as staff, Katelyn was a regular volunteer in the afterschool program in Recreational Therapy from 2018-2022.
Katelyn started her career at UNMC in 2018 as a summer intern in Diabetes, Endocrine, and Metabolism (DEM) research. In 2019, Katelyn became a Clinical Research Associate in DEM. As she learned the ins and outs of research, Katelyn became a Clinical Research Coordinator in 2021. In 2022, Katelyn began her position at MMI in the Emotional Neuroscience Research Laboratory with Dr. Blackford.
