Professional Summary
Sara Garcia, DPT, PCS, is a Physical Therapist and Co-Director of the Residency Program in the department of physical therapy at the UNMC Munroe-Meyer Institute (MMI). Sara has a broad range of experience providing physical therapy services to children in acute care, intensive care, and clinic settings. She obtained her Board Certification in Pediatric Physical Therapy in 2012. Sara joins the MMI team to provide school-based physical therapy services in the Omaha public schools. Sara is passionate about helping all children reach their full ability to participate and have fun with their families and friends. She enjoys watching the GoBabyGo! Nebraska chapter grow and provide opportunities to children to move, explore, participate, and learn in new and exciting ways.
