Professional Summary
Anne Woodruff Jameson is a Physical Therapist in the department of physical therapy at the UNMC Munroe-Meyer Institute. Since graduating from physical therapy school, Anne has worked with children with developmental disabilities as a school-based therapist in North Carolina, as a summer camp therapist in Michigan, and now as a school-based therapist at MMI for the Omaha Public Schools. She also helps serve the adult Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) clinic in Omaha. Anne is excited to be back at the Munroe-Meyer Institute, where she initially developed her passion for working with individuals with developmental disabilities and their families as a middle school volunteer in the recreational therapy program. Since then, Anne also worked as a program coordinator for Ollie Webb Center, Inc., which helped cultivate her understanding of the barriers faced by young adults with developmental disabilities and their families and the need for advocacy to ensure their rights and inclusion.
