Professional Summary

Sam joined MMI as a school-based therapist for Omaha Public Schools (OPS) in August 2018 after working as a pediatric outpatient occupational therapist for over two years. In June 2019, she began working under the UCEDD grant in regards to supporting independent living. Sam is excited to return to MMI after working in the recreational therapy department as a technician for seven years, participating in adult and-school age programming year round. Throughout her years as a technician and outpatient therapist, Sam acquired special interests in independent living skills, sexual health, aquatic therapy and opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities. She is thrilled to be returning “home” to MMI.
