Hannah Steber, MGC, CGC is a licensed and certified genetic counselor in the Munroe-Meyer Institute Department of Genetic Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). Hannah obtained a bachelor’s degree in Genetics, Cell and Developmental Biology from Arizona State University. She completed her Master of Genetic Counseling at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and joined the department as a prenatal and inpatient genetic counselor in 2022. She currently works in inpatient settings at local NICU/PICUs in Omaha, including UNMC, Children’s Nebraska, Methodist Women’s and CHI Health – Bergan Mercy Medical Center. In addition to inpatient consults, Hannah sees patients at the Fetal Care Center at Children’s Nebraska. Outside of her clinical role, she is passionate about educating students and serves as both a clinical supervisor and research mentor for genetic counseling students.
