Advanced Standing Dental Program

Program Eligibility

The UNMC College of Dentistry Advanced Standing Dental Program allows dentists educated outside of the United States the opportunity to earn a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. 

The program is for individuals who have completed the equivalent of a DMD or DDS program in a non-U.S. or Canadian accredited dental school and are interested in pursuing a dental career in the U.S., or are interested in returning to their country with additional skills acquired in a U.S. accredited DDS program. The program is open to U.S. citizens and permanent residents.

Licensure Disclosure
