UNMC Department of Dental Hygiene's 
50th Anniversary Endowment Fund

Gwen Hlava, RDH, MS, professor and chair of the department of dental hygiene, retired in the summer of 2024 after 50 years of service to the UNMC College of Dentistry. Gwen was the driving force behind the college’s tradition of excellence in dental hygiene education and patient care.

One of Gwen’s goals for the department is the addition of an endowed faculty position. This fund supports that endeavor, as well as other department priorities.

UNMC College of Dentistry Innovation Fund

This fund supports programs and events for alumni and students alike, including the annual white coat ceremony. Gifts to this fund are directed toward emerging, critical college priorities, allowing supporters to take part in important college initiatives.
