The safety committee structure for UNMC consists of two committees, Employee Safety Committee and Safety Leadership Team.

The UNMC Employee Safety committee consists of representatives of office/service staff and managerial professional staff from various units on campus. This committee will help with communication and dissemination of information, field employee concerns, investigation of accidents and concerns, and help develop new or improve methods for providing a safe workplace.

The UNMC Safety Leadership Team works to evaluate and prioritize safety concerns and issues. This team will also develop action plans and identify funding sources to address the priority concerns.
