Support Resources

Accessibility Services Center
The Accessibility Services Center aims to cultivate an accessible and inclusive community where students with permanent and temporary disabilities have an equal opportunity to participate in all aspects of campus life.
Counseling and Psychological Services
Counseling and Psychological Services provides mental health and wellness related services for the entire UNMC campus community. Their resources include a wide range of professional mental health services.
Food Pantry
UNMC Partners with the UNO Maverick Food Pantry to make food items available to all students for free. Students may now pick up those items at the UNMC Counseling and Psychological Services office.
Gender & Sexuality Resource Center
The Gender and Sexuality Resource Center fosters and promotes equity, access, and inclusion for all genders and sexualities through education, resources, advocacy, and activism.
Peer and Academic Wellness Mentoring
Peer Academic and Wellness Mentoring is an all-encompassing student success program that aides in student life to foster success in academic, professional, and student wellbeing.
Student Success
Student Success supports all public health students from early pathways programs, and admissions to graduation with academic support, engagement opportunities and more.

The Leon S. McGoogan Health Sciences Library, one of the nation’s major health science libraries, serves the information needs of UNMC students.
Writing Center
The Writing Center offers free one-on-one consultations with trained advisors to all University of Nebraska Medical Center students to help improve writing abilities, critical thinking and productive reading skills, and effective communication.
