Professional Interests
- Epidemiology and Biostatistics are two of my passions. Particularly, I am interested in Cancer Epidemiology and infectious diseases. Non communicable diseases including cancer have not attracted much attention in most of the developing countries. My focus will be on cancer prevention programs and analysis on cancer treatment outcomes especially in developing countries. I want to gain hands-on-experience in these fields and feel that my daily actions and work are contributing to the success of cancer prevention programs and improved survival of cancer patients. I want to work on cancer research projects that will promote cancer prevention programs as well as improving cancer treatment outcomes. Following my PhD in Epidemiology, I aspire to become a cancer researcher and expand my knowledge in the field of public health.
