UNMC Protection of Human Subjects Conference
Since 2012, UNMC's IRB annually hosts a free educational conference to advance the knowledge of both IRB professionals and research teams in hot topics related to research and regulation. Our yearly speakers include nationally recognized and local professionals involved in cutting edge research and ethics.
The conference provides continuing education credits for Certified IRB Professionals, Society of Clinical Research Associates, and the Association of Clinical Research Professionals. Please direct any questions to our office via email or phone at 402-559-6463.

2024 Conference
The pick-up/drop-off cycle should take an estimated 10-12 minutes.
- In the morning, the shuttle will arrive at the shuttle canopy and begin picking up attendees at 7:15am. The shuttle will continue to make rounds until 8:15am.
- In the afternoon, at the end of the conference, the shuttle will begin to pick up attendees at the Conference center doors starting at 4:30pm. The shuttle will continue to make rounds until 5:30pm.
