Patient Care

Courtney Kounovsky knew she'd do anything to save her infant daughter's life. With time running out, the transplant team at Nebraska Medicine took a portion of Courtney's liver and placed it inside baby Brynn.

Our transplant faculty understand that every patient and diagnosis is unique. They also realize that this can be one of the most challenging times of a patient's life. That is why patients, their families and primary physicians are included as important partners in developing a customized treatment plan to ensure the patient has the support and help they need every step of the way. Our faculty provide innovative, cutting-edge services through our primary clinical partner, Nebraska Medicine.

Our specialists work with four transplant programs: intestine, liver, kidney and pancreas.
