Shannon L. Wong, MD

Shannon L. Wong, MD

Following her five-year general surgery training in Wisconsin, Dr. Wong completed her plastic surgery residency at University of Nebraska Medical Center. Currently, she is the independent plastic surgery program director at UNMC and serves as the director of breast reconstruction. Dr. Wong's practice focuses mainly on breast reconstruction and cosmetic surgery.

She is board certified in both general surgery and plastic and reconstructive surgery and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Dr. Wong has been active as both primary and co-investigator of many research projects, publishing in numerous scientific journals and presenting at local, regional, national and international meetings.
