A graduate of Siena College, Dr. Figy received a bachelor's in biology and medical degree from the University of Toledo. He completed surgical residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and fellowship in reconstructive microsurgery at the Ohio State University College of Medicine.
Practice areas of interest include reconstructive plastic surgery, diagnosis and surgical management of lymphedema, and fundamentals of care for the transgender patient. He has clinical sites in Omaha and North Platte, Nebraska.
Dr. Figy has received many honors, is widely published in multiple medical journals and surgical textbooks and has presented on many medical topics, including the surgical management of burns, diagnosis and surgical management of lymphedema, and fundamentals of care for the transgender patient.
In addition to his medical interests, he enjoys snow and water skiing, running, and soccer.
