Cardiothoracic Surgery
The Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery is dedicated to excellence in medical education, research and clinical care.
We pride ourselves in teaching the next generation of cardiothoracic surgeons. Our students and fellows will work alongside our faculty in diagnostic and surgical care for cardiovascular diseases and congenital heart defects of adults and children, and comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic care for cancerous and non-cancerous diseases of the airway, blood vessels, chest wall, esophagus, heart, lungs, and mediastinum.
Michael Moulton, MD, Division Chief
Dr. Moulton leads a division of heart and general thoracic surgeons who perform some of the most complex operations in the region and serve as a regional and national referral center.
Cardiothoracic Fellowship
The Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery offers a fully-accredited two-year independent model fellowship program. We place an emphasis on progressive fellow autotomy and responsibility during each year. The clinical curriculum includes balanced and comprehensive rotations in cardiac, thoracic and congenital surgery.
