Research

The University of Nebraska Medical Center places a strong emphasis on research. The faculty in the Division of Acute Care Surgery participate in both translational and clinical research.

Translational Research

The Buesing Lab is a multi-institution, multi-disciplinary collaboration investigating acute lung injury and novel treatment strategies to bypass the failing pulmonary system.
