Student Association for Rural Health

The Student Association for Rural Health empowers UNMC students who are passionate about rural health to become practitioners and help lead rural communities to better health through service learning, mentorship, and educational opportunities.

Why Join?

The Student Association for Rural Health provides students passionate about rural health with opportunities to:

  • Connect with other students from different disciplines and campuses who share an interest in rural health.
  • Access to health care professionals willing to share insights and information on how to improve, transition, and impact rural health.
  • Community-based learning opportunities to gain hands-on experience of practicing rural health.
  • Collaboration with other UNMC student groups (policy and advocacy, cultural competencies).

This group is open to all UNMC students.
