Positron Emission Tomography

Who We Are

The facility is equipped with a state-of-the-art positron emission tomography scanner for rodent models with single digit microcurie level sensitivity. The positron emission tomography imager and accessory equipment make it possible for investigators to conduct high-level, live biodistribution and kinetic studies for a wide array of scientific applications. The work of the facility is open to all investigators within the University of Nebraska system as well as non-university users. The core and its personnel are here to support investigators in their research goals, which includes providing training on the shared equipment and safety measures.
