Core Facility Resource Grant Insert Statement

The Seahorse Core is part of the University of Nebraska Medical Center and has received resource support from the Nebraska Bankers Small Equipment Grant.

Core Consultations

Core staff is available for consult during the planning stage and consultation with a statistician is recommended to develop a Power Analysis to assure results will be adequately powered. Experiments should be designed with appropriate controls and replicates. All reagents should be fully validated. Clear and detailed protocols and data analysis plan should be followed and well documented. Assure users performing the experiment are well trained and understand how to perform the assay. Instrumentation will be maintained through Agilent.

Data Storage

Data is stored on the XFp instrument for six months (Agilent defined) and should be backed up by the users. Data is stored on the XFe96 instrument indefinitely but should still be backed up by the users. In the event the instruments are serviced or replaced affecting data, the Core will notify users to back up their own data and the Core will also back up all data using Box prior to the service/replacement.
