Instruments and Services

The core utilizes a Perkin Elmer Spectrum in vivo imaging system allowing the imaging of fluorescence or bioluminescence sources in cultured cells, excised tissue, or live mice or rats under anesthesia. The instrument contains twenty-eight filters spanning 430-850 nm. It has the capability of 3D diffuse tomographic reconstruction and NIST traceable absolute calibrations.
