Rigor and Reproducibility Statement
Ethological research is essential for the validation of a wide range of assays, and when conducted correctly, is both rigorous and reproducible. The Animal Behavior Core assists investigators in developing accurate, reliable, and reproducible measures through consideration and assessment of an animal’s umwelt, natural history, strain variations, statistical validity, and other critical considerations. Through detailed consultations, training, and a rigorously controlled testing environment, the UNMC Animal Behavior Core aims to provide optimal testing tools, know-how, equipment and facilities to all UNMC faculty, staff, and students.
