Information Security

Our role as the IT & Research Data Team is to assist the Nebraska Medical Center's Information Security office in developing policies and procedures. We collaborate with Information Security to implement research specific regulatory requirements, so contact us anytime with questions or suggestions.

We also act as a liaison to help evaluate Information Security policies and procedures and work with researchers to identify the impact of those policies and procedures on their work. Our team helps researchers understand Information Security policies and guidelines on data encryption, HIPAA compliance, and data security.
