Breann Bowar, MD

Breann Bowar, MD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology in the UNMC College of Medicine. Dr. Bowar provides clinical care through UNMC’s primary clinical partner, Nebraska Medicine.  

Dr. Bowar is involved in the training of UNMC radiation oncology resident physicians. She also provides education to resident physicians of other disciplines and medical students with interest in oncology who choose to pursue a clinical rotation within our department. Additionally, Dr. Bowar serves as an instructor for the students of the radiation therapy program at UNMC.

Clinical Focus
Through Nebraska Medicine, Dr. Bowar is a radiation oncologist with primary focus on breast and gynecologic malignancies. She provides external beam radiation therapy treatments using modern treatment modalities including 3D-conformal, intensity modulated radiation therapy, volumetric modulated arc therapy and stereotactic body radiation therapy. She also offers a variety of brachytherapy procedures with the ability to perform interstitial brachytherapy.
