Tianzhe (Tian) Li

Tianzhe (Tian) Li, Ph.D

Tianzhe (Tian) Li, Ph.D., started his medical physics residency training at UNMC in 2024. Tian is originally from Beijing China, and came to the US for undergraduate education in 2012. During his undergraduate education, Tian discovered his passion for medical imaging and clinical radiation physics, which guided him into the field of medical physics.

Tian’s career interests include training the next generation of medical physicists and applying novel MRI and molecular imaging methodology in radiation therapy for improving therapeutic outcomes and answering key cancer pathophysiological questions. In his free time, Tian enjoys spending time with family and traveling to historic sites to learn about history and politics.
