TBI Cases | Routine work, 2nd year resident in charge of planning for TBI until the 1st year starts Rotation 3 |
CT Simulation | Observe 5 days of CT Sim procedures |
Linac Treatment Delivery | Spend 4 days on the treatment machine |
Nursing and Physician Observations | Shadow nursing for 1 day and physician consults for 1 day |
CT Periodic QA | Serve as primary physicist for one CT simulator in the 1st year |
Monthly QA | Serve as primary physicist for one Linac machine in the 2nd year |
Treatment Planning | Finish at least 25 (3D) + 30 (non-3D) clinical-quality plans and document. Participate in at least 1 case/month after Rotation 3. |
HDR/LDR Treatment | Participate in every case during Rotation 5. Participate in at least 1 case/month (non-prostate) after Rotation 5 |
Annual QA | Participate in at least 5 annual QAs, finish at least 2 annual QA reports |
TG 51 calibration | Independently perform 4 TG51 calibrations |
HDR source exchange QA | Independently perform 3 HDR source exchange QAs |

60 weekly chart checks starting 2nd year (~2/week); 30 2nd check + 30 final physics check during Rotation 8 |
