Ellie Bacon

Ellie Bacon began her medical physics residency in 2022. She chose UNMC because of its history as a driving force of medical care in Nebraska and to be able to join a group of people dedicated to the continuous improvement of patient treatment and care.

What do you love about the program?

The medical physics faculty cares so much about their residents, not only academically, but personally as well. It truly is a great group to be a part of.

Fun fact about yourself or things you like to do for fun?

I have a Great Dane.
I have a Rubik's cube collection
I played Division I volleyball at UNO
I was the head volleyball coach at Union College for a year
