Ashok Bhandari, MS

Ashok Bhandari, MS, began his medical physics residency in 2023. Originally from Nepal, Bhandari completed a master's in medical physics at Creighton University. During his graduate studies, he actively contributed to an MRI safety assessment project, measuring the force and torque experienced by epicardial leads during MRI scans.

His thesis research focused on radiomics and dosiomics analysis of planning CT and dose distribution to predict occurrences of regional and distant failures following lung SBRT. His interests extend to both clinical improvement projects and the exploration of global health challenges and disparities.
