Pediatric Radiology Fellowship

A pediatric radiologist performs an abdominal MR review.

Our pediatric radiology fellowship training takes place at Children’s Nebraska in Omaha.  Children's Nebraska is the only full-service pediatric health care center in Nebraska, providing expertise in more than 50 pediatric specialty services to children across a five state region and beyond. The hospital has Nebraska’s only Level IV Newborn Intensive Care Unit and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.

In 2021, Children's completed a $385 million expansion, with the Hubbard Center for Children doubling hospital capacity. The radiology footprint was expanded and imaging equipment added.

The radiology teaching staff includes nine subspecialty trained and board certified pediatric radiologists. All radiology studies performed, interpreted and dictated will be under the direct supervision of staff pediatric radiologists at Children’s Nebraska.

The fellowship is a one-year program, which is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. We require successful completion of a U.S. residency training program in diagnostic radiology accredited by the ACGME.
