Office of Public Health Practice

Our talented team with public health experience across the state, regionally and nationally is housed within the College of Public Health Office of the Dean.

We provide a bridge between those who are practicing public health every day in their communities and the academic world of research, education and student experiences.

Great Plains Leadership Institute

Since its inception, the Institute has trained over 375 professionals in Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, South Dakota, and Minnesota who are passionate about the future of public health. Everyone has a part to play in building safe, healthy, and thriving communities. The Institute empowers leaders in their leadership journey.

Meet Our Team

Our team advances academia and practice toward a more effective, interconnected, just, and modernized public health system. We achieve this through our academic and practice partnerships, capacity development efforts, the training and technical assistance we offer, and student practice experiences.
