The 1st Annual Nebraska Chronic Disease Summit will feature national, state and location speakers highlighting current efforts toward preventing and controlling heart disease, diabetes and obesity. Workshops will also feature skills building opportunities to support the implementation of public health initiatives.

General Registration: $135

The registration fee covers the instruction materials, breakfasts, refreshment breaks, and lunch.

Registration Deadline: May 31, 2017

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made in writing and sent by email to the UNMC Center for Continuing Education. A refund of the registration fee, less $50 processing fee, will be given if the request is received by May 31, 2017. No refund will be given after this date.
Continuing Education Credits:  All participants will receive a certificate of participation for their attendance.  The summit is also designated for a maximum of 10 hours of Certified Public Health (CPH) credits.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Courtyard Marriott at the group rate of $91 (plus tax) per night. Reservations may be made by calling 402-339-4900. This block rate is available on a first come, first serve basis until May 19, 2017. After this date, reservations will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis.
