Teaching Philosophy

Instructing is about transfer and transition. That it’s my role to bring together concepts theories and established knowledge and connect to applied and real-world experience and process. This applied approach fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Above all, my goal is to to support the student toward their success which ultimately advances health services and health administration. My instructional method or design follows the EDIT model that works well in the physical classroom and online. Experience, Describe, Infer and Transfer.
