Yeongjin Gwon

Yeongjin Gwon, PhD, joined UNMC in 2018. He serves as an associate professor in the Department of Biostatistics in the College of Public Health and as the director of biostastistics for the college's Water, Climate and Health Program.

Dr. Gwon also is a faculty fellow of the Daugherty Water for Food Global Institute of the University of Nebraska.

He previously served as an instructor in the Department of Big Data and Applied Statistics at Dongguk University in Korea

Research Interests
Gwon’s research has focused on Bayesian modeling on heterogeneous data integration, aggregate ordinal outcomes, correlated multivariate count data, large-scale geospatial data, adaptive statistical design, and statistical application to clinical trials and public health research.
