Our department is the home of experts in statistical application for biomedical research and public health informatics in the state of Nebraska.
We use numbers and statistics as tools to design studies that uncover the truth about reality– then use these scientific discoveries to improve public health. Through rigorous emerging data sciences, we play a critical role in translating data into reliable information that is used to make evidence-based decisions.Our department also teaches and engages students in independent and collaborative research methodologies so they are well-equipped for the real world. As ultimate team players, we work in cooperation with everyone. We're here to be a part of the great work people are doing to make change.
