The training focused on introducing the field of Biological Risk Management to private diagnostic human and animal lab teams in Egypt to increase awareness and motivate lab teams to start implementing the principles of BRM.

Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this training, the participants should be better able to:
- Describe the core Biological Risk Management fundamentals, including an introduction to the assessment, mitigation, and performance (AMP) module; biocontainment levels; laboratory biosecurity; personal protective equipment (PPE); decontamination; and biological waste disposal.
- Implement the Biological Risk Assessment.
- Apply appropriate mitigation measures.
- Identify sensitive material.
- Explain how to perform network assessments.
