The College celebrated its inaugural World Health Day on April 19, 2023, by sharing and informing global health knowledge, expertise, and experiences with the UNMC local and international communities. The event allowed those engaged in global health to come together, exchange knowledge across disciplines, and make connections.

Interdisciplinary by nature and collaborative in spirit, global health efforts encompass a range of academic fields, and scholars are committed to improving the health of humans, animals, and ecosystems around the globe. This event built on the work of global health practitioners from UNMC and beyond by bringing together partners, leaders, and young career professionals for a day of sharing and discussion.
